We had lunch here with my family, and from the very moment we walked in, the impression was overwhelmingly positive. The décor is stunning:warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. It has a cozy, almost Nordic feel that evokes the Basque Country in a refined and elegant way. The restaurant is quite spacious, with several distinct rooms, each offering a slightly different atmosphere, yet all connected by a coherent design concept. It feels as though multiple spaces have been thoughtfully brought together to form a single, harmonious home.

The food was truly excellent,flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care and attention to detail. Every dish we tried was a delight. If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the service. While not bad, the staff felt a bit inattentive and the customer service was quite basic. I’d rate the service a 4 out of 5.

My fiance and I were on a bike ride in Soller when it started down pouring on us on the descents, we pulled over into El Vasco to use the awning to reroute ourselves to finish as quickly as possible. The manager immediately invited us in and offered us blankets and a seat in the dining room. We were hesitant because we were fully dripping, soaking wet but fairly quickly took his offer. To say the least we were understated, but the service was amazing. The blankets were top notch, and the food! We decided to order the anchovies and fried squid, and this is a mid ride snack I’ll never forget. The food was of average taste and quality, which was a disappointment considering the price. The hot tapas were served cold, the croquetas were hollow, and the lamb ribs were tasteless. The service was even worse than the food. I have lived in multiple countries (Spain, US, and UK) and also travelled quite a lot and I can honestly say that our waitress was about the rudest I have ever encountered in my life. I cannot speak about the other servers, but the bad manners and lack of customer service skills of our particular waitress were appalling on so many levels.
