Wonderful place with relaxing outdoor dining with good food and an outstanding view. We had some beers which came with some nice tapas of egg and potato omelet on bread with olives. We started with a cold gazpacho-like tomato soup which was somehow both deliciously garlic-y and refreshing. My wife had the pork loin and chips and I had the Alpujarra plate. So I must have hit a bad day. Asked for agua sin gas Then had to ask for a glass as I don't drink out of a bottle at my age! The glass was dirty! Water warm! Then had to ask for ice. Had to pay for it immediately which, as a local, I've never had to do before. Must be a criminal element here who don't pay and walk off!!

I can only review as a road cyclist who has arrived at this excellent bar having ridden a steep 5km climb to reach the village of Canar. On arrival this bar is a welcome haven.
