Restaurante Venta Quemada — Restaurant in Cúllar

Generally we come here weekly on route too and from Malaga, it’s a great half way point for us, but one thing that’s bugging me is the toilets. NOT ONE TOILET HAS A SEAT. NOT ONE IN THE MENS OR THE LADIES - I JUST DONT UNDERSTAND IT.

I hope the owner sees this and gets some toilet seats fitted, but after 4 years of knowing this place it’s always been the same. It’s unsanitary and if you are shall we say “a little bigger than average” you’ll be trying hard not to let it sit in the pan. It’s gross and generally not pleasant to have to drape the toilet in paper towel just to sit and the try hard not to cause any splash-back along with having to be super conscious about where your member is touching.

Apart from that it’s a great place

I had the pleasure of dining at venta quemada this night, and it was an extraordinary experience. The ambiance is exquisite, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect.

The highlight, of course, was the food. Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The menu offers a fantastic variety, catering to diverse tastes and preferences. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were perfectly balanced.

The dining area straight ahead - authentic atmosphere of a place that has servered travelers for decades.

Atmosphere felt chaotic, didn't know where to go to request a table. Waiters were experienced and food came out very fast. Sandwiches with jamón only had bread and jamón, nothing else. As a vegetarian, there's is little option, however the salad, berenjera and grilled mushrooms were fantastic.

Had to laugh at another review that said there are no toilet seats, because it is true. Keychains are cheap.

Next time, will try the restaurant on the RIGHT, as it seems to be the fancy...
