We stopped here for ten minutes to shade ourselves while we waited for the bus. The restaurant outside was completely empty, but the sun umbrellas were up. The dreadful waitress demanded that everyone who was waiting buy a drink each, even though some of the seated members of our party had already sent people into the bar to do exactly that. We might well have bought a drink had she not been so aggressive. Being treated so aggressively meant neither I nor my partner wanted a drink and we moved away from the seating area. We stood under the shade of an umbrella cast by an empty table - cheeky perhaps, but there was no one outside the restaurant and our bus was arriving in less than ten minutes, plus it was roasting hot at 3.30 in the afternoon. The mean spirited waitress astonishingly then put the umbrella down!! Not surprised there was no one eating there if that is their marketing strategy. I hope the owner sees this review and suggests a change of behaviour to that particular waitress. Perhaps then, they will be as popular as the Don Joan...

We gave this restaurant a 3 star only because it was a life saver. All other restaurants were closed in this area. So there went the first star. We were visiting Fonts de l'Algar. The Staff was welcoming then told us the kitchen was closing, we needed to hurry and order from one particular menu. 'School food' we ate. Nothing spanish here at this time (siesta). Fries, hamburgers, croquetas jamon which was not ham...maybe mashed potatoes. The food was not ok! We sat outside. There is indoor seating with air conditioning, clean, spacious with clean toilets, that was where the second star went.The bill was VERY pricey for 'school food'. Good this place was open to fill that space in our tummies. Thats where the third star went. YUP! Just because they were open. Thank you for being open!!! NOT...

Fatal!!!!! El dueño del local muy muy mal educado. De muy malas formas nos ha manifestado su desagrado por llegar al exterior del restaurante con tres perros . 1 pequeño 2 medianitos ( no más de 12kg) habiendo llamado por la mañana para reservar mesa y preguntando si podíamos estar en la terraza con tres perritos educados, nos ha dicho que si , siempre que no fuesen perros grandes ( para mi perro grande es : un mastín, un terranova etc...) hemos comido en este mismo restaurante un montón de veces atendiéndonos un señor muy agradable que pensábamos que era el dueño y siempre con perros .Había una pareja sentada en esa zona ( no habían más clientes excepto esa pareja y nosotros 3 con tres perritos) pues de muy malas formas nos ha dicho que con perros NO , repito que el restaurante vacío un domingo de Junio ( no es de extrañar después de ver el trato ).... he de reconocer que el arroz con bogavante caldoso está muy bueno pero no volveremos nunca más ni pensamos recomendarlo . La pareja estaba flipando con el dueño y su trato hacia nosotros .el tipo debe ir muy sobrado de pasta porque después de una pandemia de dos años no tenía muchas ganas de agradar a sus clientes.
