Restaurant Can Muni — Restaurant in Calonge i Sant Antoni

After a week in Barcelona and Costa Brava, I can easily say that this was my favorite meal. The restaurant is tucked away in a little pedestrian street near the castle and is very intimate. We started with the pate, which had a great texture. I ordered the black rice which was amazing. It's basically like black risotto... but the best risotto of your life. My husband ordered rabbit, and it just fell off the bone and was served in an amazing sauce. Dessert and the dessert wine were fantastic as well. Ah, what a magical and delicious experience in restaurant Can Muni was. We fell immediately in love with the pittoresque way in which the restaurant is decorated, got curious by the authentic dishes on the menu and finally got enchanted by the most charming owner and cook! We had the sheer luck of being the only customers that evening and felt absolutely privileged to have our personal cook. The meal was soooo delicious and without any doubt the best food we enjoyed...

Mon expérience dans ce restaurant a été très décevante. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis très froidement parce que nous n'avions pas spécifié que nous avions des enfants, et il nous a été signalé de les tenir tranquilles à table. Cela a créé une atmosphère désagréable dès le début.

En ce qui concerne la cuisine, c'était vraiment moyen. Apparemment, le chef, était seul à s'occuper du service et de la cuisine, et il n'était pas aidé par sa femme. Cela signifiait que les plats n'étaient que réchauffés à la salamandre ou à la friteuse, ce qui les rendait secs ou trop cuits. La qualité des plats laissait vraiment à désirer.

Le patron était sympathique, mais malheureusement, l'attitude glaciale de sa femme imprégnait l'ensemble de l'établissement, rendant l'expérience encore plus désagréable.

En prenant en compte le prix, je ne peux que déconseiller fortement ce restaurant. Pour un tel tarif, je m'attendais à une meilleure qualité de service et de cuisine. Malheureusement, ce ne fut pas du tout le cas, et cela a gâché...
