Cometa — Restaurant in Calp

A lovely family-operated restaurant that serves excellent food in a quaint, off-the-beaten track location. I have had the pleasure of dining here over the years of my visits to Calpe. I have never been disappointed and always depart satisfied. The food is freshly prepared. The Sangria also is made to order and is fresh, spritzy, and delicious. Spanish is spoken here but a tad of English too. The menu has photos and the descriptions of the dishes translated. We had take out from this restaurant and they were really accommodating. So much so, we went and sat in with the kids the next day at lunchtime. The service is friendly, we tried with limited Spanish and they were helpful and spoke much better English than our Spanish, but we tried. I would go back there anytime.
