I am giving this place 4 stars just because of the food, which was good. The service needs to be improved asap. There is a possibility to order the full set menu for 30 euro which includes entree, main and dessert OR a smaller one for 20 euro which only includes entree / main and a dessert. I took the first option and my husband the latter. They’ve brought my husband’s main when they’ve brought my entrée. Then, for my main I specifically asked if the fish dish I am ordering contains any meat - the waiter said there is no meat. Ok. They bring my main dish and the dish has jamon inside. I tell them that I do not eat meat and they were actually surprised themselves that the dish has meat (it was like a fish roll and inside of it was the jamon) - so the staff themselves were not familiar with the dishes, how is this possible? Especially for someone with allergies this is a big problem. They’ve brought a grilled fish as an alternative (it is not on the menu normally, but it was so delicious that I really hope they will introduce it) and I was really grateful that they’ve sorted this out. For the desserts they’ve mixed again the order and they’ve brought 2 arroz con leche when my husband got something else.. Also everytime they would bring a plate they would drop it on the table and leave and we had to stop them every single time to ask them ‘what is this plate’? so we would know whose plate is which.. and the restaurant was not full at all but it was such a bad experience in terms of service. The staff needs training. Our first waiter struggled for a long time to open the bottle of wine.. and it is such a pity because afterall, it is a 30 euro menu pp, so it is not a ‘cheap’ place. The previous night we had dinner at Cova Sacra which is a fine dining place, but it is separated only by a wall from this restaurant and the difference is astounding. Overall, the food is good and I would return for that, but I would not return due to the very bad service.

Simplemente sublime. Altamente recomendable y a repetir tan pronto podamos.

In the restaurant you can get a menu in which you can select 2 dishes & a dessert (with complimentary wine, water and bread) or half a menu where you select a single dish & a dessert. After going for a whole menu - the amount and quality of food is great and for the price of just 30 euro is an absolute bargain. We selected traditional Asturian dishes but they came with small twists which made it even nicer! The complimentary wine and bread were good too. Service was very friendly and attentive and provided us with their recommendations on the dishes. The decorations of the space could be a bit more vibrant to make the space pop-up. However, given the fact that it is a part of an historical hotel it may be hard to make it a bit more "edgy". Still, I definitely recommend it for the food and...

Like some other reviewers we dined at the Cova Sacra the previous evening(stunning refined food and impeccable service). This restaurant uses the same kitchen and some of the staff. It is located next to it separated by a curtained glass dividing wall. The difference is stark, from the bottle of white wine put directly onto the table with the Cork in it(no wine cooler?) to the rustic dishes on the menu that would be great in a mountain restaurant but not a four star hotel. The service was good whilst they dealt with a coach party at the same time. Some quirky serving dishes, deserts served in a small frying pan and a small oven ware pot. Background piano music was dreadful, same as the Cova Sacra. For 30@€ you can't really complain but the menu is totally wrong for a...
