Meine Frau und ich hatten uns den ganzen Tag auf dieses Abendessen gefreut – und wurden auf ganzer Linie enttäuscht.

Schon beim Eintreffen begann das Desaster: Wir waren 15 Minuten zu früh da, weil wir uns das Ambiente ansehen wollten. Statt eines freundlichen Empfangs oder vielleicht eines Drinks zur Überbrückung wurden wir von dem Herrn am Empfang regelrecht angeschnauzt und widerwillig an den Tisch geführt. Von Gastfreundschaft keine Spur.

Kaum hatten wir Platz genommen und einen flüchtigen Blick in die Karte geworfen, stand schon eine Kellnerin am Tisch und wollte die Bestellung aufnehmen. Als uns schließlich zwei Gläser Wein serviert wurden, entdeckte ich in meinem Glas drei Fruchtfliegen. So etwas kann passieren – aber der Umgang des Personals damit war schlicht eine Frechheit. Der Kellner verstand aufgrund mangelnder Englischkenntnisse nicht, was ich ihm mitteilen wollte, reagierte genervt und wiederholte nur ständig irgendetwas in unfreundlichem Ton. Erst nach einer unangenehmen Diskussion bekam ich ein frisches Glas.

Der gesamte Service war eine Zumutung. Während des ganzen Abends fiel weder ein „Bitte“ noch ein „Danke“, keine Spur von Höflichkeit oder Aufmerksamkeit – im Gegenteil: Die zuständige Kellnerin wirkte durchgehend genervt, passiv-aggressiv und überfordert. Das Personal ist offenbar überwiegend sehr jung, was grundsätzlich kein Problem wäre – wenn man es denn ordentlich ausbilden und zur elementarsten Höflichkeit anleiten würde.Zur Krönung war das Essen auch wirklich eher unterdurchschnittlich, ich kann die Bewertungen hier absolut nicht nachvollziehen!

Wir wohnen regelmäßig in einem kleinen Boutique-Hotel ganz in der Nähe und haben Vergleichsmöglichkeiten – was wir hier erlebt haben, war mit Abstand der schlechteste Service seit Langem.

Empezó con el hecho de que llegamos 15 minutos antes porque queríamos ver el ambiente y en lugar de darnos la bienvenida y ofrecernos una bebida para pasar el rato, por ejemplo, fuimos bufados por el señor que recibe a los clientes con reserva y conducidos a nuestra mesa. Apenas tuvimos tiempo de mirar la carta y enseguida vino una camarera a tomarnos nota. Al principio nos trajeron dos copas de vino y tres moscas de la fruta nadaron en mi copa, personalmente no creo que sea algo malo, puede pasar, pero la reacción del servicio fue realmente casi descarada, no entendía en absoluto lo que le quería decir debido a su falta de conocimientos de inglés y se limitaba a repetir las cosas de una manera totalmente malhumorada. El servicio en general fue realmente subterráneo, no hubo ninguna petición, ningún agradecimiento o un gesto educado de ningún tipo durante toda la noche - al contrario, la camarera era pasiva agresiva y sólo parecía molesta. La mayoría del personal parece muy joven, lo que personalmente me parece bien, pero entonces, por favor, ¡sean formados y educados!

The space is pleasantly decorated in a rustic style and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food was tasty, with the exception of the bread, which had practically no flavor. We came specifically for the suckling pig, but were informed right at the beginning that it was no longer available. Since this was our third time coming to the restaurant specifically to try their specialty, we mentioned this to who seemed to be the maître, who kindly offered us a small portion so that we could at least taste it. And it was truly wonderful! Apart from the maître, who was kind, the rest of the staff seemed inexperienced and a bit unpolished when taking orders, serving dishes or even explaining them—often without even making eye contact with the clients. De restaurant looks amazing the Ambiente is very very Nice so the expectations where there. I expected a more personal service / experience, they didn’t ask for more drinks when the drinks were empty. We had to wait quite a bit before we could order our drinks also. When the food came at first I was impressed because the meat looked amazing! Unfortunately the crackling pig skin wasn’t crackling and wasn’t edible it was chewy ( and that’s an important thing for a crackling pig in my opinion) my son had the chicken what was very dry.
