To the previous commenter - I’m not aware of Manuel being on WhatsApp or using email (he’s old school), if you can’t speak Spanish to arrange your stay/baggage transfer over the phone then I recommend you have faith and rock up. We stayed here during our Camino inverno and I couldn't rate it higher. The host was very friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, the beds were comfortable (with real linen) and the room and bathroom were very clean and quiet. The host went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and the breakfast in the morning was a great start to the day. Even with our limited Spanish we were made to feel very welcome. Perfect stay for a pilgrim on the inverno. I believe the host is also very knowledgeable regarding the Camino routes, unfortunately due to our limited Spanish we couldn't avail of this but the Spanish speaking pilgrims were having a good...

I arrived at 14:20, 12 may 2022… The old man at reception told me that there is no bed left and it needs to reserve by telephone before come. The point is that I met no pilgrim in this winter camino (camino invierno), only me walking since ponferrada !!! Perhaps there is a secret group somewhere …

I guess he just didn’t want to provide service for just one...
