LA Zagalica — Restaurant in Cartagena

My family and I ate here recently I the evening. The food was delicious. The burgers were excellent and the breaded chicken was nicest I've had in a while. Came back today for a lunchtime treat and chose the Blackforest Gateaux, holy moly! Just do it. Absolutely scrumptious! All cakes/puddings are prepared on site, they have a little glass booth you can see them prep in. Great Pastry chef, lovely staff, delish food. Reasonable prices....

ENG: Given that I didn't eat for lunch but only had an afternoon break (dessert and coffee), I must say that it is a quiet place and all the restaurant staff are very friendly and very kind which is excellent news, in this "new post covid world" increasingly populated by rude and troglodyte customers/waiters. DEU: Da ich nicht zu Mittag gegessen habe, sondern nur eine Nachmittagspause hatte (Dessert und Kaffee), muss ich sagen, dass es ein ruhiger Ort ist und das gesamte Restaurantpersonal sehr freundlich und sehr nett ist, was in diesem „Neuen“ eine hervorragende Nachricht ist „Post-Covid-Welt“, die zunehmend von unhöflichen und troglodytischen Kunden/Kellnern bevölkert wird. SPA: Dado que no almorcé sino que solo tuve un descanso por la tarde (postre y café), debo decir que es un lugar tranquilo y todo el personal del restaurante es muy amable y muy amable lo cual es una excelente noticia, en este "nuevo mundo post covid" cada vez más poblado por clientes/camareros groseros y trogloditas. ITA: Premesso che non ho mangiato a pranzo ma ho fatto solo una pausa pomeridiana (dolce e caffè), devo dire che è un posto tranquillo e tutto il personale del ristorante è molto cordiale e gentilissimo il che è un'ottima notizia, in questo "nuovo mondo post covid" sempre più popolato da clienti/camerieri maleducati...

I love this place. It is family run and they are so warm, friendly and helpful. It is always a delight to see them. All the food is cooked fresh and the menu is more imaginative than most local restaurants around. There are awnings to create shade if needed, and a very relaxed atmosphere.
