I came here because of the very positive reviews. The service is indeed nice and it is a cool spot to hang out. Plus, the olives are tasty!

However, to say this is the best pizza is an overstatement. I haven't had any other pizza in this region to compare it to, but I have definitely had a lot better pizza than this.

The dough is nothing special, probably made on the same day and quite salty. The crust was also not well baked for one of the pizzas, which came out floppy and doughy. I guess that's because of the electric oven that is used. The cheese is low moisture mozzarella, which is ok. The sauce is slightly sweet, but definitely not San Marzano D.O.P tomatoes. On a positive note though: they are very generous with the toppings and the pizzas are quite big.

In conclusion, the place is nice and the pizza is just"ok". If you live in the neighbourhood and this is your local pizza spot, then it will do for your craving. However, it is not really worth it to drive more than 20 minutes...

Wir waren heute hier zu zweit essen. Etwas skeptisch am Anfang (da das Restaurant noch relativ leer schien) füllte sich das Restaurant sehr schnell mit Gästen. Wir bestellten eine Pizza mit Hähnchen nach der Speisekarte und Tagliatelle mit Meeresfrüchten (diese stand zwar nicht auf der Karte, wurde aber für uns dennoch zubereitet). Beides war sehr lecker. Die Portionen dürfen sich auch definitiv sehen lassen. Das Personal machte auf uns einen sehr zufriedenen und glücklichen Eindruck und waren auch sehr bemüht unseren Aufenthalt schöner zu machen. Pizzeria am Ortsrand Richtung Peralada. Freundliches Personal und sehr einfaches Ambiente, wohin man nicht unbedingt seine Schwiegereltern einladen würde. ABER sehr leckere und große Pizza. Ich hatte die Mama Mia, die mit gut krossem relativ dünnem Teig und ordentlich Belag serviert wurde. Chilliöl zum Selbst-Nachschärfen.
