Taberna Ribeiro — Restaurant in Castelló

We visited for supper. There were plenty of tapas to choose from. The main courses were fairly limited, to meat or fish. The waiter was very pleasant. The wine list was minimal. The food was ok.

Perfectly average and acceptable bar.

Visited again, this time for almuerzo. The bar was packed, but it still took more than 30 minutes for the waiter to appear at the table with a menu for us to think about ordering anything. When we eventually managed to order, the food came out 1 plate at a time for the people on the table over the course of 30 minutes. The drinks also arrived piecemeal and randomly, although one was forgotten. Eventually, only my plate was missing... It turns out the ingredients had run out. Nobody thought to tell me until everyone else was eating, and so I enjoyed watching everyone else eat after an hour of waiting. I ordered an alternative dish and had another 15 minute wait. When it eventually arrived,.it was very tasty and full of ingredients, but sloppy and fell apart in my hands, I used 5 napkins and gave up and used a fork and knife. Comida de reyes en Taberna Ribeiro a no... Que después de hacer la reserva via WhatsApp como nos indicaron diciéndoles de antemano los platos principales que íbamos a comer como nos solicitaron y para nuestra sorpresa llegamos a la "taberna" a las 14h toda la familia 16 adultos y un bebe como nos indicaron y NOO HABIAN TENIDO EN CUENTA NUESTRA RESERVA. El encargado de las reservas le echa la responsabilidad al cocinero y el cocinero ni sale de la cocina para darnos una explicación. Desde luego con esto a perdido a bastantes clientes en un futuro, ya que, aún reconociendo su error ni se han molestado en intentar darnos servicio. Un verdadero profesional hubiera hecho lo inposible por hacerlo, aunque hubiese sido en la terraza del local. HAN CARECIDO DE PROFESIONALIDAD Y HAN SIDO UNOS VERDADEROS...

Era la segunda vez que iba. La primera fui a comer el menú que hay y me encantó. Ayer fui a cenar con mis padres, pedimos a la carta y la verdad que me sorprendió para bien fue todo genial, las raciones abundantes y los entrecots muy bien presentados y con mucha cantidad. Los precios están bien y la calidad estupenda. Para beber pedimos ribeiro y espectacular. Volveremos sin duda. Somos asturianos y nos gusta ir a restaurantes que sirvan productos del norte y este se asemeja mucho....
