Bar La Taberna — Restaurant in Cheste

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Taberna restaurant located at La Taberna restaurant located at Av. Castilla, 22, 46380 Cheste, Valencia, Spain

I am happy to share what a wonderful experience I had. I arrived at the restaurant around 10 pm and was delighted to find that it was still open. There were a couple of families sitting outside enjoying it was a bit nippy for Spanish weather but they were having a good time sitting out, and one family inside the restaurant.

As I stepped inside, it was a friendly and welcoming atmosphere over all a good vibe. The restaurant had a cozy and homely feel, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The decor was tasteful and understated, with a touch of rustic charm.

The menu at La Taberna was impressive, with a wide range of Spanish and traditional English disher with a Spanish twist .. What caught my attention was that the menu was available in both English and Spanish, which was a thoughtful touch catering to the tourist crowd. The menu had a good selection of non-vegetarian options however I don't recall seeing many things got vegetarians.. however menu has detailed list of food with allergies warning and food suitable for people that would like to eat gluten free food, and I was impressed with the variety of dishes on offer.

As I placed my order, the staff was attentive and friendly we had a bit of language barrier but they were very helpful, they were more than happy to offer recommendations and help me navigate the menu. The food arrived promptly, and I was blown away by the presentation and flavors. My meal was cooked to perfection, and every dish was bursting with flavor.

I ordered chicken, lamb and pork dishes from the menu and total bill came less then €40 which is reasonable between 2 people

Overall, La Taberna is a fantastic restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Cheste, Valencia. The food is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Paramos a comer aquí siguiendo las reseñas, íbamos de viaje.No solo comimos estupendamente mi hijo y yo , nos trataron genial . Cuando nos marchamos me dejé una pequeña mochila con todas mis cosas, cartera , llaves de casa … la insulina … nos dimos cuanta a 200 km de Cheste. No solo me guardaron la mochila intacta.. sino que aunque cerraban a las 16:00 esperaron hasta las 18:30 . No tengo palabras para agradecer lo que hicieron por nosotros. No tendrán una estrella michelin pero tienen 5 en un rinconcito de mi corazón, tan cálido como su restaurante. Muchas gracias por ser tan íntegros y buenas...

Pequeño bar restaurante, que no te tienes que perder, cocina tradicional muy bien elaborada y a precio muy asequible, a destacar sus croquetas de boletus, la oreja de cerdo caramelizada y las chuleta de lechal, caso aparte es su tarta de manzana una verdadera delicia, el trato es muy cercano y amable, Enrique es un buen Anfitrión ya que te hace sentir como en casa, lo dicho no dudéis un sitio para visitar con una cocina honrada y un servicio cercano.
