Restaurant la Santa Cova — Restaurant in Collbató

A leap of faith that turned into a spectacular experience. Initially while looking at reviews/ratings we were hesitant as there were only 33 total reviews. A big step away from the typical “popular” Spanish restaurant you’ll see with 6-15k reviews. Very glad that we decided to try it out. First of all, being a non Spanish speaker it was still very easy to order. All workers and who I presume were the owners were so lovely to interact with. We went through a second round of ordering food because it was so good and they were happy to oblige. Next is location. Collbató itself is a wonderful smaller town. Add to that sitting under the almond tree outdoors at their restaurant while sipping some local wine. What could be better? On to the food itself. Just fantastic. Definitely flavor combinations I have not had in my life, and yet they were all delights. We certainly had some reservations about the prices going into the meal, especially considering the average pricing of a tapas dish in general in Spain. But once you saw and tasted the food you saw the care, preparation and creative thought put into it and the price makes perfect sense. All in all, I think any person can well appreciate this restaurant....

We had an amazing meal at la Santa Cova. It is a real gem and definitely a must go when in Collbato! Every plate was delicious and beautifully presented and the waitresses were very friendly and welcoming. It has a very homely atmosphere. Also they had some very nice vegetarian options too....

Con muchas ganas de visitar el nuevo local en Collbato.

Teníamos unas expectativas muy altas porque conocemos su tipo de cocina.

Sin duda un sitio bonito, decorado con encanto. Lugar tranquilo y espacioso.

Una carta amplia que ademas cuenta con recomendaciones diarias fuera de ella.

Probamos gran parte de esa carta y nos encanto.

Si bien es cierto que el precio puede parece algo elevado, esa sensación se disipa cuando pruebas el plato. Muy buena elaboración, en un tiempo mas que correcto y con una presentación de 10.

Se nota que esta cocinado con cariño y un genero de primera.

Sin duda, volveremos a visitar La Santa Cova en alguna...
