Venta los Pinos — Restaurant in Conil de la Frontera

Been 4 times in 7 weeks. First 2 visits were exceptional in service, quality and ambience. Third not quite so good but we noticed 2 of the waitresses had disappeared and it made a difference. This Wednesday we arrived at 8.20, it's supposed to open at 8pm. Waiters and waitresses ignored us and continued putting paper table cloths on for a reservation. We waited 10 minutes then I asked if we could have a drink, still stood at the entrance. WAIT, a waitress barked. We sat at a table near the entrance and again I asked for drinks, she wrote the simple order and slammed them onto the table when she returned. The manager was there, totally ignored us and carried on then welcoming his reserved guests. We ordered food, wrong order arrived, changed and managed to get a 2nd drink. I paid the bill but having left large tips previously. I left nothing. I cannot understand how a service, it's quality and atmosphere can go down so quickly with no apology or communication from its manager, indeed anyone. Would we go back? I doubt it. They had no chicken but a huge advert advertising chicken take away adorned the wall. The floors were dirty, the staff untidy and very, very rude, so no, I cannot envisage what would lure...

One of our favourite places tucked away on the edge of the woods near Roche, Los Pinos serves large portions of good honest Spanish food at extremely reasonable prices. They also have a takeaway service for roast chicken etc. Open usual times for breakfast , lunch and evening meals. Updated Re Covid March 2021* : Los Pinos staff are still very thorough in cleaning tables, chairs and bathrooms, a year on after the first Covid outbreaks. Not just a quick wipe - they take time to time in clearning all surfaces of chairs and tables thoroughly. Gel is provided near tables for visitors. Os voy a contar mi experiencia en este último año en este restaurante (llevo 10 años yendo para comer o cenar más de 5 o 6 veces todos los años , pidiendo pollos para llevar en época de vacaciones) Cada año van de mal en peor ,el servicio deja mucho de desear en los últimos 2 años.Siempre te trataban bien (tardaban más de lo debido como en la mayoría de los sitios en Cádiz, pero eran educados)pero últimamente te tratan como si les importaras un pimiento ,sobre todo una señorita con gafas muy borde y arrogante diciéndote que es lo que hay y hablando de muy malas maneras La última vez que fuimos a comer hablé con el dueño que es muy amable e iba a solucionar el problema,pero está señorita de malas maneras se le escuchaba despotricar por todo y así decidimos marcharnos sin comer por las maneras y trato recibido de esta chica. Una pena porque se comía muy bien con una calidad en el pescaíto bastante alta a un precio muy bueno Ahora ya han puesto comida para llevar , pizzas y raciones, que yo creo por el servicio que dan que les queda grande En las 2 anteriores veces que hemos ido a cenar hemos tardado más de 2 horas en terminar y no por qué comamos despacio sino por qué te sirven una ración cada 30 min. y al final te falta alguna ración sin servir que ya pides que no te traigan La tortilla de patatas para llevar lleva patatas fritas dentro por el volumen de trabajo que tienen(son patatas cortadas en tiras como las fritas, con huevo rebozado como aparece en la foto) En fin una pena porque nos gustaba mucho ir a este sitio ,pero que en los años venideros me pensaré si ir o...
