Restaurant Siurana — Restaurant in Cornudella de Montsant

Not only the best restaurant I have ever been to! Also the best place I have ever been to. So let's split it up to some points: Ambiente: everything inside is so aesthetic and with so much love for the details. I mean look at the pictures ;D The crew: they are all one family👨‍👨‍👦‍👦♥️. And they are all so lovely people. From the first day on I had so much fun with them and to me it felt like I became part of their family as well. Andreu and Maria, the owners of the restaurant are so lovely and smart people. I hardly cant wait for seeing them again in summer time⛱️☀️. The food🇪🇸🍖🍯🍴: here you can have the best Catalan food. And if you are as loko as I have been it, I recomend you to ask andreu whether he can serve you the whole menu in one day haha😂 The location: it's directly located in the heart♥️ of siurana, one of the most beautiful villages I have seen on my roadtrip🚗 through catalunya

Ahhh and I had there my very best birthday in my life, although I was there all on my own without my friends from Germany...

We arrived in town after 4:00PM after a slow and grueling late January drive. We were unprepared for the mandatory parking fee of €3.00 (cash only). The attendant was American and let us proceed after suggesting the local restaurant for getting cash. We arrived at the Restaurant Siurana hungry and distraught to find the kitchen closed, but they took pity on us, and served us soup, bread and salad. It’s hard to judge the quality as we were so ravenous (“Best soup I’ve ever had!!”), but I expect we would have enjoyed the food and atmosphere on an ordinary day. They were kind enough to charge the €3.00 and give us the cash so we could settle with the attendant, and increasingly we understand how kindness can make all the difference. The village of Siurana itself was lovely. Just be prepared for a slow drive there and back, especially if there’s ice and snow, and check out the Restaurant Siurana for their food and outstanding...

Definitely worth the drive to the end of a dead end road to the for rock climbers and nature lovers known paradise Siurana ! The restaurant is located in the heart of a beautiful village, one of the nicer ones in this region. As expected from the photos a cozy interior with log fire in one of the corners. Welcome and service was friendly and it was a plus we were able to communicate in English ! An extensive menu with local Catalan dishes, including some prepared on "a la brasa"....we selected the lamb and rabbit......both exquisite taste!....and the house wine.....also served in a carafe by the liter was excellent, as was the cheese and dessert. For sure a venue we will return to and highly recommended to those after a genuine local cuisine experience in a cozy ambiance enhanced with...
