Filet of fat. I ordered Secreto de Cerdo and was served a slice of fat with sauce. I've had this dish hundreds of time at restaurants across Spain. This was the worst ever. Over 95% fat. Update: As you can see from their response, the goal is to spin this into something positive for the restaurant instead of addressing the problem. I've eaten secreto de cerdo in hundreds of Spanish restaurants over my last 25 years in Spain. I know the difference between quality meat and fat. The response from Adria, the F&B Manager is a sign of overall incompetence for her position. Professionalism is important. Desert Springs has lots of potential but it can do much better hiring and quality control from top to bottom regarding food and beverage.

Beautiful place surrounded with golf fields. Old Spain style restaurant, with wonderful, small details. The salad that I have ordered was fresh and very tasty. Unfortunately, the impression was ruined by the waitress (tall lady with short, blond hair) who was just rude to me and my three friends... She was litterally throwing plates on the table and showed anger when I haven't notice her coming. After I asked her to behave more politely, she pretended she didn't understand me. Pity. I was workong as a manager in Accor chain of hotels, I am also an owner of a big B&B in the area. I cannot imagine that kind of service. Despite I was glad with the place and food, I left feeling bad... 3 stars instead of 5.

On the 30th of December, we dined at El Torrente, a Mediterranean restaurant located within the Desert Springs Golf Resort. The setting was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views overlooking the golf course and the restaurant’s beautiful architecture creating a warm and inviting ambiance. The atmosphere perfectly complemented the exceptional quality of the food and the attentive service we received. Every detail reflected a commitment to excellence, making it a truly memorable experience. El Torrente is undoubtedly a restaurant we’ll be returning to, and we’re especially looking forward to experiencing it again during the summer months.
