Love the ambience! When you're seated in the semi-al fresco dining area, it genuinely feels like you're nestled among trees. A solar-panelled ceiling provides shelter, while the vines form partial walls — covering the lower half and climbing up the pillars — giving the sense of being cocooned in greenery, yet still open to light and air. The view of the surrounding foliage and the soft trickle of water falling from the roof’s edges wrap you in a calm, nature-kissed atmosphere. Stand up and look beyond, and you’ll see a parking space just outside and slightly downhill — less picturesque. But from where you're seated… oh, it’s something else. Utterly relaxing. The tables are nicely spaced out, too.
The indoor dining area was lovely as well — bright, with a soft touch of elegance that made it feel both polished and inviting.
The food? We had two menus of the day, each including bread, drinks, a starter, main course, and coffee or tea (€16; with dessert, €18). We enjoyed both — twice over! We felt well-fed and more than satisfied, especially considering we often end up spending €50 or €60 for two elsewhere. Incredible value.
The raya? My partner was a little nervous I’d made the wrong choice — being far from the coast, it seemed a risky pick. Back home, we’re spoiled with the best raya a la gallega. But to our delight, it turned out just as good, maybe even a wee bit better. A lovely surprise.
The service? You know that moment when someone hands you your tea or coffee with a smile so genuine, it lights up the whole interaction? That smile stayed with us. It wasn’t just about professionalism — it made the experience warmer, brighter, better.
The toilets? Clean and well-kept — always a good sign of care behind the scenes.
We left feeling content and well-fed. The portions were just right — not too much (very Galician), and definitely not too little. I hit about 85% full, which felt perfect. The Chinese ideal is 80%, after all.
And yep — we’re absolutely coming back the next time we're in the area. Can’t wait to settle into that peaceful atmosphere...
