DeniArròs Les Marines — Restaurant in Dénia

Overall a bit disappointing as expected it to be 5 star restaurant. Menu of the day really is a bargain for 22 euros for a 3 course meal and huge portions. Salad was basic and overloaded with onions. Pimentos patron were a bit bland and needed more salt which can be added however I prefer rock salt. My main course was sea-bass was nice but a bit overcooked. My desert was fruit of the day which was a big portion of melon however it was not fully ripe and slightly hard but tasted sweetish. I would have preferred some honey and yoghurt with it. I sampled my friends Paella and it was too salty and lacked flavour despite being a huge portion for two. Service was good as the restaurant was full with big parties of 10-20 per table. On our last night in Dénia, we decided to eat at DeniArros which was close to our appartment. We ate different starters to share, which all of them have been served hot and tasted very nice. Honestly the starters (especially the Fried fish) is enough to feed 3 people! We continued with a mixed Paella which was excellent too. Followed by some digestivo and dessert we left the place happily. The service was very attentive, some of us spoke Spanish so I cant say how easy ordering in English/German would be.

We went here for fish and seafood and discovered by accident that they also have beautiful and authentic Neapolitan pizza. No difference to the ones in Napoli, the pizza pizzaiolo is Neapolitan also. The waitresses and waiters are very attentive, we had a great time and would definitely come back whenever we are in Denia. I especially recommend the pizza "Duo Gusto" with pears, mozzarella, gorgonzola and crunchy walnuts.
