Eskolondo Taberna — Restaurant in Ea

We were greeted by a friendly waiter, the place was busy but he told us we should wait 10 minutes for a table. We noticed two men leaving a small table (“drinks” table) and we asked if it’s ok for us to take it. The waiter didn’t mind at all, although sometimes it can be an issue in other places. We order a house salad, scallops and grilled seabass. Everything was absolutely delicious. This lunch turned to be our best meal in this trip so far… We’d love to come back and check out other dishes...

It’s very nice restaurant in great seating. We had tomatoes salad super good, croquettes also delicious and for main steak and beef cheeks all was very very good plus tasty wine. We finished with miloja for dessert and it was perfect. Would go there...

We expected little initially given the environment however we were completely wowed by the meals we were served. Incredible veal cheek and hake then ended with a chocolate fondant. You must have a meal here if in the area. And range of wines...
