Restaurant Colmar — Restaurant in el Campello

Very good restaurant outside of El Campello, right at the N-332. The menu overall might not be overly excessive in size, but what is on offer is of best quality. No matter if fish, meat or Paella, the dishes were always very well prepared, nicely arranged for the eye and served with a smile. The meat most certainly ranks amongst the best meat I have ever had in all of Spain - tender, juicy, tasty, just delicious! A feast for the meat-lover. Desserts are also nice, esp. the Muerte por Chocolate! No comment needed here, I think. Prices are somewhat higher, but absolutely justified by what is being served. Dogs are allowed on the terrace, but unfortunately not in the restaurant. Still, an absolute 5 stars for this venue...

We had lunch from the A La Carte menu today and overall can only rate it as okay. The table settings don't live up to the pricing. Same cutlery used for starter and main. Salt came in paper sachet. Waiter showed little interest in us and didn't clear our table after the main course, so we decided to forgo dessert and asked for the bill. The owner was wandering around looking extremely unkept in trainers and denims hanging halfway down his behind and holes in the back pocket. Not the image we expected. Menu of the day priced at 24 or 27 Euro. Far too expensive. Won't go back as plenty more good restaurants...

Hundebesitzer nicht gern gesehen. Wir verbringen jedes Jahr einige Monate in Coveta Fuma und gehen in dieser Zeit auch regelmäßig essen. Wir wollten in diesem Jahr das Colmar wieder mal ausprobieren. Leider war uns das nicht möglich, da man uns die Mitnahme unseres kleinen Hundes auf der Aussenterasse nicht gestattete. Wir hätten VOR dem Restaurant zur Straßenseite hin an einem kleinen "Katzentisch" Platz nehmen dürfen, was für uns ein deutliches Zeichen des Nicht-Willkommen-Seins bedeutete. Warum erwähnen wir das hier? Weil es uns in den vergangenen Monaten weder an der Küste noch im Hinterland von einer Restauration verwehrt wurde, einen kleinen 4,5 kg Hund, der gut erzogen und Gastronomie gewohnt ist, im Aussenbereich mitzubringen. Wir empfehlen daher die anderen Lokale am Ort und im Hinterland.

Los dueños de perros no son bienvenidos. Pasamos unos meses en Coveta Fuma cada año y salimos a cenar regularmente durante este tiempo. Queríamos volver a probar el Colmar este año. Desafortunadamente, esto no fue posible para nosotros porque no se nos permitió llevar a nuestro perro pequeño con nosotros a la terraza exterior. Nos permitieron sentarnos frente al restaurante en el lado de la calle en una pequeña "mesa para gatos", lo que para nosotros significaba una clara señal de no ser bienvenidos. ¿Por qué mencionamos esto aquí? Debido a que en los últimos meses, ni en la costa ni en el interior del país, no se les ha negado una restauración de traer un perro pequeño de 4,5 kg que se comporta bien y se utiliza para la gastronomía al aire libre. Por lo tanto, recomendamos los otros restaurantes de la zona y...
