¡INCREÍBLE!

I went to Balerma to visit a friend, and he suggested to eat in this restaurant. Since the first visit I completely fell in love and decided to try as many dishes as I could during my stay.

The restaurant is family owned for more than 30 years and you do feel like home there. There is great variety of food in there, with the main focus on fish. All the dishes I tried were one of the best in my life, I would highly recommend mix of fried fish, tuna toast and octopus. Also the bakery is excellent: the lemon cake and cheesecake, which could be easily spoiled, were utterly delicious, as well as a brownie. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the place has a great atmosphere with soft, not loud, good music which completes the essence of the perfect evening.

It was an very good experience after visit La Bodeguila de José. I (Frank) and my wife Ella were serviced and advised by the waitresses Elena and Cynthia. Both women very friendly and take their time to help and advise us because we are not fimiliar with the Spanish kitchen. Every thing we have eaten was absolutely delicious! Fish, meat and other things we even don't know what we had get. For us was the communicating easy because Elena as well Cynthia speaked very good English.
