Probably the worst Spanish dining experience in the seven years we have lived here. The food for the four of us was delivered at random intervals, and when I enquired why my food had arrived 45 minutes after my wife's meal was 'slapped in the table', I was basically told to wind my neck in because they were busy - which they weren't. When my octopus eventually arrived it was over cooked and cold, a difficult combination to achieve!

We took the experience in our stride and managed to laugh about it, so we had an enjoyable evening despite the dreadful food, service and atmosphere. I once went to a 'Fawlty Towers' dining experience, and this was unintentionally comparable.

I love to eat here. The tostadas with tomato and ham are very yummy and they also have more elaborate dishes such as the croquetas selection. Wines and beers are also good. The thing that I find needs improvement is the service consistency. Sometimes very nice, although never exceptional, but sometimes not so much. There are times I feel I am a burden to the waitress. I understand that there is a lot of pressure on the service to deliver when the restaurant is full but as a customer I don't want to be on the receiving end of the accumulated stress. Pop in for a couple of drinks, decided to have something to eat. Ordered the nachos, out came a plate with what looked like a packet of spicy Doritos with a little melted cheese and a drizzle of tomato. The inside was warm but the outside was cool, would seem this was put into the microwave. Also order the garlic prawns, these came out with the heads on and the tails, these were not deveined and the prawn tasted too fishy so these were left.
