It was one a really great place for lunch. Very family atmosphere and food. I guess this is the way it should be in real quanchinche - homemade :) Apart from the food, it is worth mentioning that the wine is really very good. I had white, dry one. Good temperature and taste. To that we had some appetizers: croquetas, tomates alińados, queso asado), and for main meat and chocos. All ingredients were very good quality. I don't eat meat so I decided to eat chocos. The way they prepared them here is a little bit different than in other places and restaurants. I tried them and that's why I like them so much. Something different and very tasty. They are sliced and grilled with onions, paprika and herbs. Very tasty. Add to that potatoes (very good quality) it really made my day for eating. As I'm a big fan of vegetables I would add one more veggie thing for variety (one more salad) and maybe serve tomatoes in a bigger portion. Even the appetizers were pretty small one. I know canarian cuisine is simple, but after some time I really missed some decent green portions to eat on a site instead of potatoes or bread ;) Summary: good place, good price, great atmosphere and lovely owners. Go there one day once you are...
Read moreIt's more of 3.5, but I felt uncomfortable to give it a 3. The place itself is in oasis of countryside tranquility simply, but nicely decorated and with a very attentive staff. The food in its kind is ok, we loved the goat meat, however the croquetas, the cheese and the fries were tasty, but far from amazing. The white wine by glass was very good. Good prices, but keep in mind only cash payment is accepted. We would return exclusively to try more of the meat dishes as they seem to be their specialty and the tastiest...
Read moreOn a Saturday lunchtime in December the place was packed and we had to wait patiently in the courtyard until a table became free. The husband and wife team along with a helper rushed around trying to satisfy everyone. There's no menu, the food is local home cooking. And very good it was too. It's certainly in the middle of nowhere, but the drive there passed through vineyards where in December the leaves had turned a...
