Cafè L'Artesà — Restaurant in el Prat de Llobregat

My husband and I came to Barcelona for two nights to kickoff our honeymoon through Spain. We stayed at an apartment nearby and our host recommended Cafe L'Artesa. Wow. Just wow. We loved it so much -- we ate there both nights!! jaja We unanimously agree that Cafe L'Artesa has THE BEST Patatas Bravas in all of Spain. And trust me - we pretty much ordered Patatas Bravas in nearly every region we went to. I can promise you that we will go out of our way to eat here the next time we are in Barcelona. Our other favorite was the Calamares a la Andaluza (fried calamari) - ordered both nights, They were a 10/10. If you are in the area - you must visit! You will not regret it. Had we been more hungry we would have split a hamburger. They looked incredible but the portions of what we ordered were sufficient for us.

coca bread w tomato: not the best i tried here, and the bread was rather stale. 2/5

Yo sé que no es un sitio de comida rápida pero las dos veces que fui, no tenia prisas pero llega un momento que uno solo quiere levantar e irse a casa. Parece ser si no te conocen, es imposible sentarse y comer en un tiempo razonable. Fui solo esta noche y después de sentarme llego un grupo de 6, una pareja y otra pareja. Yo pedí una hamburguesa de pollo, media ración de bravas y una tosta de butifarra....demasiado pero tenia hambre por no haber comido. Bueno, primero llega la hamburguesa, antes de mi cerveza. A media hamburguesa, por fin llega la cerveza. Cuando había terminado la hamburguesa, por fin llegan las bravas. No es por nada, pero me gustan la hamburguesa acompañada de patatas, no la hamburguesa de primera y las patatas de segunda.

Y mientras esperaba la tosta, lo reclame dos veces, el grupo de 6 y las dos parejas ya habían terminado, tomado el café, pagado y se fueron. Y yo sin mi tosta! Parece ser que una tosta de butifarra tarda unos 80 minutos por que cuando he pedido cancelarlo y pagar me dice la chica, ahora viene en un minuto. 5 minutos mas tarde me trajeron un butifarra medio frío sobre una tosta que llevaba rato tostado. Finalmente, para pagar tuve que levantarme e ir al bar. En fin, yo solo y tardé mas de 90 minutos en comer cuando grupo mas grandes sentaban y se iban en menos de una hora. La noche antes había estado con un conocido que es del pueblo y fue otro trato, todo mas rápido, otra experiencia. En fin, si no eres del prat, mas te vale tener tiempo y no pidas la tosta de butifarra por que tarda mas...
