La Boquerona — Restaurant in Estepona

We are staying at this hotel so as it’s our last night we thought we would have a nice chilled evening at the hotel restaurant… it was the worst experience in a restaurant i have ever had and ruined the last night of our holiday. Food was terrible and service was absolutely shocking!!! I never write bad reviews but this restaurant needs one. Not once after taking our food order and us finishing our food did anyone come back to ask if we wanted a dessert or a drink. We managed to call the waitress over after sitting an hour with the staff just ignoring us. We ordered our drinks 45 mins later 1 drink came but missing the other 3 .. i then had to go up and ask but they had forgotten then we still had to wait about 20mins for the drinks and when they arrived they were wrong. The waitress took my friends half drank drink away whilst taking the wrong order back then when she called her over to say she had taken her drink the other waitress come back with 2 half drank drinks on a tray telling her to take which was hers … they were the same drink but she said she knew which was hers as she’d hardly drank any but I couldn’t Believe it. After this they slammed the glasses down on the table. We ordered a coffee which came out toddler size and was then ignored for the next hour until we asked for the bill … they added an extra cocktail on which had to be taken off we paid the bill and left. Terrible terrible service never had anything so bad ever!!! Do not dine here. It may cost €15 euro to get a taxi into town but don’t let it ruin the last night of your holiday like it did ours. I just can’t believe how much they didn’t care less when I pointed out that they had just ignored us. Terrible restaurant terrible food terrible service … I really didn’t want to pay...

The waiters where extremely nice and admirable but the food and the quality was very disappointing. I asked for a strawberry daiquiri and I was brought something that tasted like a pre-mix. Then half of the menu was not available. So I ordered a steak cooked medium . And had to send it back twice, because it was too raw. And by the third time it was too dry from bieng reheated so often. Very disappointing...

Una auténtica vergüenza , solo 2 personas para atender el restaurante. Después de 1/2 hora de espera y habernos servido una cerveza, no vino nadie para atendernos y tomar la comanda. Después de reclamar 4 o 5 veces que vinieran a atendernos ni caso. Uno de los camareros se puso a sacar los platos y cubiertos del lavavajillas y al decirle que dejara ese trabajo para despues, encima se puso en plan "así no me hable Ud." y encima una persona que se identificó como responsable del turno le apoyaba diciendo que no era culpa de sus compañeros, que no había más personal, que eso era problema de la dirección, que el me tomaria la comanda. Pasados otros 5 minutos y seguían sin atendernos nos levantamos de la mesa, pagamos la cerveza y nos fuimos. Dejamos otras dos mesas en la misma situación, esperando a ser atendidos sin hacerles ni caso. Nunca antes hemos sufrido esta situación. UNA VERGÜENZA SIN NOMBRE. NO VOLVERÉ NUNCA MAS. HAY QUE DENUNCIARLO PUBLICAMENTE PARA QUE NADIE ACUDA ALLÍ. Y PARA MAYOR VERGÜENZA ES EL RESTAURANTE...
