The reason to stay at this hotel is that we had bought tickets for a concert to be held in the surrounding area that unfortunately was cancelled. As we had already booked it so we decided to give it a go.||||The hotel is in the main road at the entrance of the village. As we found out later, it had belonged to another enterprise but a couple of years ago a new management took over it. The building needs some coats of modernisation to compete with another not far from this one.||||Our room stank when we got in, probably because it hadn't been used for a while and the bathroom had an offensive odor that took three days to disappear. The room had a balcony which faced the road and it had a wardrobe with a built-in safe.||||Breakfast was all right but flies loved to hang around the meal looking for some food. ||||The manageress, Maite, is a kind person with a constant smile on her face. The problem is that she is also the manageress of another hostel opposite the road and she constantly moves from one place to another giving the sensation that you never know when or where you can talk to her. ||||We had a lunch in the hostel and it was quite good.||||So, if you are not looking for something special, this hotel or its sibling Hostal Vall d'Aneu, is a good...

Staff does not speak fluent English, but we managed to communicate. A minor disadvantage was that the rooms with a view (we had one) are above the restaurant, so it was quite noisy in the evening. The host was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom spacious, with a bath.||||We ate here for three of the four nights we stayed and the complaint we had was that there was too much food!
