This restaurant was a wonderful discovery! The first thing that surprised me was the road leading to it. The descent is quite steep and narrow, so if you’re not confident in your driving skills, be careful. The parking area is small but can fit around ten cars if parked tightly.
The restaurant was full of people, and it quickly became clear why. It’s an authentic Spanish farm-style restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and incredible food. You can even see farm animals nearby, which adds to the charm. Due to its popularity, it’s best to book a table in advance, as the place fills up quickly.
The menu is provided via a wooden board with a QR code, allowing you to choose your preferred language. Before the main course, they serve a fresh bun with a delicious sauce. I ordered half a portion of goat meat with potatoes and white wine. The dish arrived quickly, was served hot, and the meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. Half a portion was more than enough!
An excellent place that I would love to visit again. If you’re looking for delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and genuine farm-to-table quality, this is the place to be. Just be careful when driving down!
Read moreWow just wow! If this turns out to be the only restaurant we go to whilst on Tenerife I would be more than happy! The lady serving us was friendly and helpful and suggested some starters for us to have. We had a tomato, cheese and basil salad with a balsamic dressing that was delightful - I wish we could grow tomatoes that sweet! Then we had the filo cheese parcels (I'm sorry they probably have a specific name but we didn't catch it). These came served on top of a delicious fig jam. I could have eaten 10 of them😋. The third starter (there were 3 of us) was the fried cheese which was incredible. So good you'd come back to Tenerife just for that alone 😁👍. For the main we had a huge cut of beef that we could grill for ourselves at the table. Great fun and delicious to boot. Couldn't quite manage it all sadly! We had a plate of Cholucas potatoes to go with that were also great. We saw some lovely desserts but they will have to wait for our next visit 🤣. It's a little out of the way but so...
Read moreA hidden gem, truly. I've been to Tenerife many times, explored almost every corner of the island and I love it with all my heart. Only one thing is where bad luck follows me: the restaurants. Either it's something completely overpriced (yet mediocre food), or I get a food poisoning or it just tastes bad. But this place was a highlight. The food is pretty simple, which is great as it is super fresh and it tastes like real, perfectly cooked food. Also made of products mostly from their own site as far as I understood. So good, so tasty, such a nice, quiet, cosy place. The small salad with local freshest herbs - marvellous! The goat meat - excellent. I would recommend taking small portions to share and taste more of them. This place is the one I will definitely go to next time. Thank...
