"El Castillo Del Bosque" — Restaurant in Felanitx

Very touristy and right next to rhe main road. Took us 10! Minutes to get the menu and there wasn’t one local person at the restaurant. The food looked okay but overpriced and their wine selection is not what it could be - given the amount of great local wines. Avergae surcharge of 5-10 Euros for bottles compared to other places. The food selection is very random - a little bit if everything but nothing appealing (I guess it’s he menu reflects the taste of the tourist crowds). We had a reservation and got to our table relatively fast but then didn’t get anyone to even just provide a menu for over 10 min - we didn’t want to make a fuzz and just decided to leave as we would have easily spent Euro 100+ and didn’t want to in this environment. I was disappointed that it's so close to the highway ( noise and smell) and expected more from the name re exterior and decor. The food is either very simple with no presentation to overly complicated with various ingredients and overpowering taste. I'd say mediocre ,I don't think I'd return and have booked many clients and sadly nobody asked for 2nd reservation. Their instagram page is reasonably well taken care and it's good advertisement. A nice restaurant in a little castle. We decided to have dinner here just because the paella was recommended by a lot of people and since during this vacation we didn't had any paella we figured to try out theirs. An excellent choice, we really like it and especially I, since I am not a fan of paella because I was disappointed by this dish plenty of times.
