Rice Restaurant — Restaurant in Finestrat

We were very disappointed with our visit to Rice in Finestrat. The food was extremely overpriced, and unfortunately, the flavors did not live up to the high prices. Portions were small and lacked balance or refinement.

The staff was overly pushy and made us feel uncomfortable during the meal. On top of that, they didn’t speak any English, which made communication frustrating especially considering it’s a restaurant in a tourist area.

The Rice Restaurant hit every target. We started with the Tuna (Atun) with curry sauce. It was like eating savory fruit and set the mood right. The Sea Bass was the freshest that I have ever had. The seasonings and preparation was perfect. The fish literally melted in my mouth. The addition of spices and oil right before service was right on point. We had glazed Red Fish Paella for our final course. We wrapped the meal with the Artesan Helado (Ice Cream). It was a great meal for my wife and I and a great memory. Thank you for the great food...

Location and Service perfect. The 1 shrimp as Appetizer for 40 Euro was way over the top. Cigala (no price was on the menue 😰). The main course was really good. We did not like the Dessert.. after we did not like the first one, they gave us a second one… but we again, did not like it. The wine excellent! In the end we paid as a couple 174.00 Euro, which is a lot of money for 2 Appetizers, 2 rice dishes, 1 Dessert and 2 bottles...
