TAPAS TO BE TASTED

First thing caught my attention is that music in the bar was spanish heavy metal. Second thing the outfit of the cook that was reeeeaaal heavy metal.

But the most atonishing thing was the quality of the tapas! They were all home made, no industrial preparations at sight that taught on how much they care about their customers.

We tried tortilla española, pincho moruno and peperoni salad that were excellent. The boiled potatos aliñas with anchovies is one of the best papas aliñàs of my life. Fresh sardines and other grilled fish was really fresh. And beer very cold.

Pedí un vaso de cola y me lo trajeron con un trozo de vidrio q se les ha caido dentro de la bebida. No me daba cuenta hasta cuando casi terminaba de beber - entonces vi el trozito pequeño que podria haber tragado por accidente. No quiero imaginarme lo que habría pasado entonces. Es normal, yo entiendo que cada uno se puede equivocar. Pero al mencionarlo, lo único que me dijeron fue "uy perdón" y volvieron a sus asuntos. Al pedir la cuenta me querian cobrar como si no hubiera pasado nada - se les tuve que decir que no me cobraran por la bebida porque no era seguro beberla y no pensaba pagar por algo que me puede causar daño. El que maneja el restaurante le dio permiso a un camarero sabiendo que yo tenia razón y al final me quitaron ese vaso de la cuenta. Pero se notaba que no le importaba y no lo hizo por su voluntad sino porque me empeñé en que lo hicieran (!) En todos los demás restaurantes de la zona habrían puesto más atención a un incidente así y me habrían ofrecido una compensación como mínimo. Iba casi todos los dias pero no pienso volver. Cuidado!

PS: gracias por responderme. No dije que me invitarais de comer -sino, antes de editar el comentario (no vi vuestra respuesta), que una propuesta así habría demostrado que os importaba el bienestar de un cliente que va a menudo a vuestro bar. Lo que realmente me molestó es que si no hubiera dicho nada no me habríais quitado la bebida peligrosa de la cuenta - que facilmente me podría haber dañado. Y sobre su comentario del horario de la cocina, esto no tiene nada que ver con el estado de la bebida. No haís actuado profesionalmente en este aspecto....

Five star place in the centre of Fondon. The paradise village of the Al Alpujarra.💓🥂 Excellent Tapas and great service by all staff, with Two brother's running the place. Pepe is the most helpful and curtis person, notting to much trouble, as is with his brother and all staff. A must visit and waste time spot.
