Just one word: CHEATERS. I should have read more carefully the comments before sitting for lunch with my partner. You can see from the photos that is true what other people said: they do not display any price on the daily menu and they decide how much to charge you only when you ask for the bill (perhaps locals and Catalan speakers are being charged less ???). On top of that, they do not include the IVA (value added tax) in the prices displayed. I ordered a bottle of wine that was priced 13.5€ on the wine list and they added the tax on top on the bill. This is ILLEGAL in Spain as well as the majority of the countries in Europe. Despite I ordered in plain Spanish language, I guess they heard me and my partner speaking in English and they felt entitled to behave like this. Me sabe mal porque han intentado resarcir la mala experiencia, y porque al final creo que es un problema de intentar abarcar más de lo que se puede, pero ha sido bastante desatroso todo. Empezamos por las copas, totalmente sucias (no mal lavadas, sino directamente no lavadas); pedimos otras y nuevamente, sucias. Al final he cogido yo mismo de otra mesa que estaban limpias. Entramos los primeros literalmente, pedimos unos macarrones para nuestro hijo para que los fuesen haciendo lo antes posible y lo han traído después de más de media hora (en las otras mesas iban sirviendo); al reclamarlos nos dicen que es que lo han tenido que hervir... Los macarrones cuando llegan están crudos. Los devolvemos. Traen unas croquetas que si bien estaban buenas, estaban frías (llevábamos casi una hora, así que no íbamos a devolverlas...). De los pies de cerdo con caracoles no entiendo el plural, porque era un solo pie, y de los caracoles habré podido sacar cinco sin exagerar. El resto, vacíos. Vuelven los macarrones, siguen sin estar bien cocidos. Lo dejamos por imposible. Nos regalan unas alcachofas para compensar. Los macarrones no nos los cobran, y eso sí, muchas disculpas, que se agradecen, pero hubiésemos preferido tener una buena experiencia directamente. El canelón al menos estaba bueno. En el postre dan carquinyolis y catanias y parece que un porrón pequeño de moscatel; digo parece porque todas las mesas tenían menos nosotros. El tiramisú no sé bien de qué estaba hecho, pero eea como una pasta sin hacer. La tarta de queso no sabía a nada. Lo dicho, parece un buen intento pero se queda en eso....

Absolutely superb. Typical Catalan cuisine with good portions and a good variety of choices. We all had something different and everything was so tasty. Excellent service, the waiter smiled throughout in spite of my Spanish. Don't bother having anything besides the local vino de casa. Excellent value for money at €6.
