El Sueño — Restaurant in Formentera

A place where you feel like guests - and not customers. Guests who are treated with a level of personal and welcoming service that is (normally) found in establishments charging a multiple. The food is simply exceptional; all dishes deserve their own reviews and our highlights for 2024 are the gnocchi with scampi and the parpadelle with beef ragù. The tragedy of El Sueno is its location: it’s so off the beat that it will be missed by 999/1000 Formentera visitors and therefore it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. The upside though is, that El Sueno remains niche and preserves its unique character. We’ve been coming here for many years and it feels as if it gets better each year.

Really good surprise in every way!

First a shout out for the best “camarero”, Nicolas! Very friendly! So nice you just wanna hang out with him!

The food is amazing! We were there twice! Order the sauté mussels, the lobster taglionini, the zuccchine and spinaci ravioli and the pumpkin risotto! Even the burguer was really good!

And the desserts!!!! Brownie, white chocolate mousse and the apple pie! All just perfect!!

Un restaurant incroyable. Une nourriture exquise, des plats très élaborés, originaux et délicieux.

Le cordon bleu remplit de noix et roquefort est un régal pour le palais, de même que tous les autres plats que j'ai eu l'occasion de goûter. Les légumes sont frais, goûteux et bien cuits. Les pommes de terre sont un régal en outre le désert était merveilleux. Des produits frais, une cuisine fait maison et de grande qualité.

En ce qui concerne le service c'est juste impeccable. Ils parlent plusieurs langues (bien que parlant espanol, ils s'adressèrent à nous en français, avant de changer pour l'espanol) ils conseillent de façon très pertinente et ils ont gentillesse que je n'ai vu nulle part ailleurs. Au niveau du prix, c'est encore mieux. On à un service et un qualité digne des meilleurs restaurants pour un prix très acceptable. (70 euros pour 2 personnes, avec 2 plats et 2 déserts, vin et boissons.)

Para mi es claramente el mejore restaurante que conozo. Una cocina excepcional y un servicio impecable. Productos de gran calidad y una cocina de gran calidad. Increible!
