We stayed here at short notice whilst visiting the nearby (about 30 minutes drive) SEO El Planeron reserve. There are closer options but despite some rather quirky room photos on the internet reviews generally seemed good and the price was quite low. ||||Our room had a simple Scandinavian pine theme. It was small but comfortable and clean. Despite being October the evenings were warm but the aircon was effective and not noisy. For those who have difficulty sleeping in noisy hotels (we don't!) room 221 at least is very quiet at night with only the song of a Black Redstart from dawn to disturb you. There's no view but most people won't be spending long in the room anyway. Good free WiFi.||||The shower is excellent with at least 5 settings and plenty of hot water.||||We ate in the restaurant one night and had the fixed price menu which was great VFM.||||Ask about the Cebolla Dulce de Fuentes de Ebro, Denominacion d'Origen local speciality onion that is served and sold in the restaurant. It is exceptionally sweet and can be eaten raw and included...

Our one night was at the beginning of a local fiesta, with reinforcements having been set up for the upcoming bull- through-the-street event at midnight. So we unexpectedly got a bit of the local customs. The hostess was most helpful in explaining and showing the rear entrance. We had a selection of rooms to choose from, and the restaurant was very good despite the upcoming onslaught of expected guests. At the same time, our room was so quiet that we were not bothered by the activities once we decided to go to sleep. Rooms are clean...
