With a jarra of beer, my fish soup came to over €16 euros, which I thought was on the expensive side. Particularly as it did not come with bread. As soon as I got to Galdar I went to a much cheaper place to fill up. As for the fish soup. Well, there were quite a few shells in it. The menu was by a QR code which is why I do not remember the Spanish name. It is a shame they do not have an English menu unlike the cafe by the petrol station. I did think about going to the nearby bar which was deserted. The fish soup was not particularly salty which was a good thing. It was more shell fish / sea food than chunky bits of fish.

AKN after a few months of break, decides to come back to make reviews. What to say, besides the place really bad experience. AKN went his AKN brother around 4 pm, and asked for two coffees. The waiter said that he could not make them, kind of obliged to take something else. AKN and the brother therefore ordered two beers and after a few minutes the waiter brought two coffees in another table. BAD BEHAVE, NOT THE BEST BAR/RESTAURANT IN GÁLDAR

Restaurant near a hidden natural pool. Visited on Wednesday afternoon (ca. 15:00) and the occupancy was high. Most outdoor tables were reserved. Fast and friendly service. The fried local sardines were the best. A table beside ordered seafood paella with lobsters and it looked and smelled spectacular. After I asked, lobster meals have to be ordered in advance. If I come back to island, I’ll definitely do it.

One of the the best places in Gran Canaria. The food in this places is stunning & super tasty. The service is very very good, in fact its one of the best we’ve seen in a long time. Our waitress Barbara is one of the most pleasant, attentive, and has an amazing eye for details, and very hard working. We were also looked after by Carlos, whom I’m highly thankful for accommodating us before the kitchen was closing. Also La Caldosa has a variety of vegetarian options for people who don’t eat meat or fish , and the only place that serve Canarian Potatoes with both sauces (Roja y verde). Will be definitely coming back and recommending it to friends and family.

This is an incredible place with with the seafront view has its own charm and soul. Thank you for your...

Davanti all'oceano.
