Throughout many years of viewing restaurants, this is one of the most exceptional experiences I have had. While not on a central booking platform that offered no availability in the area, we found this stunning restaurant through recommendation.

Once entering, we were greeted by the kitchen team, including the multi-award-winning chef and 5+ times Michelin recommended chef, who seated us.

Our server, also the daughter of the owner/chef, explained the menu and took no insult to our limited English. She offered no pressure in choosing and was happy to adapt even the tasting menu to our liking within reason.

Despite our party not being too fond of the sound of some of the dishes, we ultimately chose the five-course tasting menu that offered quality food and drinks on a reasonable budget.

Each and every plate was delicious, convincing all of our party that the specifics were not our dislikes, but they were never been presented them in such a desirable way. From a dislike to nut, and a general sense to avoid come ingredients we were all delighted with every dish.

The staff were exceptional, while family of the chef they did not over endorse dishes that actually turned out to be beyond expectation. The serve was prompt, polite and an important part of the meal, also offering a personality to the restaurant.

I have no faults to mention and would recommend this to any adult family or couple wanting a true culinary experience that goes beyond anything else...

I can honestly say that here is a restaurant that gives you "an experience of quality" amongst very mundane restaurants in Tenerife. We came upon it today by chance...unassuming exterior but very welcoming interior and staff. Set well back from the main streets anx centre. Honestly it was a really enjoyable lunch for me and my wife. We are normal ordinary folk not necessarily opting for fussy pricey food but this lunch was brilliant, in taste and presentation and variety. Its run by a German family and they take very great care to offer good service...and super food...oh the tomato soup was to die for, plus the bread and individual spreads were amazing. Honestly i was impressed with everything and even the sun was shining today. It was worth the hike up the hill and best of all its just good value pricing. Thats the icing on the cake. A lovely experience in every...

This restaurant is next level! Certainly an unlikely find in the tiny mountain top town, but definitely a destination restaurant not to be missed. Very welcoming staff and a lovely family story of passion and determination to restore the building and create a fantastic restaurant within it. You can choose either a 5 course tasting menu to just one course from then main menu, which is changed due to seasonal availability of food. Book in advance as there are only a few tables in the charming main dining room, and on warmer nights sit outside by the fire place under the stars. One of the best meals we have had in a long time. The dessert was Devine! you're treated like royals. They see everything and at the same time don't hover. The place is quiet and clean. They play background music that is soft. The toilets are clean and loveley. The service is perfect. The prices is a bit high but well worth it! the meals are big. I would recommend king prawn rissotto with the Creme bruleè as dessert. and as a starter the tomato soup. But the meals are huge so if you're like me, you don't need to order a starter then you would not have room for the main course. highly recommended. Michelin 2018 to 2010, though not for 2014 for some reason.

Finally - excellent! After being mis-sold some places across Tenerife that got great reviews and being disappointed we made it to Casa Tagoro today and had the best meal on the island by far. Went for the king prawn risotto which was very decent, and the beetroot gazpacho taster they gave us was high grade. Excellent staff too, friendly but not intrusive and provided good service. Not the cheapest (~16-17 for the prawn risotto), but definitely worth it over compared to the majority of other places we went to in the island which were at best average. Easily recommended!
