I recently had the pleasure of visiting Tasca Tierras del Sur in Tenerife, Spain, and I must say that it was an absolute delight. The culinary experience at this restaurant surpassed all expectations - the food was simply phenomenal. Every dish I had the pleasure of trying was a true masterpiece, bursting with incredible flavors and impeccable presentation. It's safe to say that my taste buds were in heaven throughout the entire meal. Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was also top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my dining experience was perfect. Their attentiveness, professionalism, and friendly demeanor truly added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. I felt genuinely cared for and valued as a customer. Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant itself was adorable and charming. Its quaint and cozy atmosphere created a welcoming and intimate setting that made the dining experience all the more memorable. From the tastefully decorated interior to the warm lighting and soothing background music, everything came together to create a truly delightful and relaxing environment. In all my culinary adventures in Tenerife, this place unquestionably stands out as the best. The combination of exceptional food, top-notch service, and enchanting ambiance make it an absolute gem. If you find yourself in Tenerife, I highly recommend paying a visit to this outstanding restaurant. You won't be...

found this on trip advisor recommendation and was worth the visit.from the outside you wouldn't think it was a restaurant ,in fact family who visit the village regularly had walked past many times not realising what it was. the decor is traditionally rustic and has perhaps 25 to 30 seats. The owner/ waiter is very welcoming and spoke better English than my Spanish and was very helpful when we were getting a disabled wheelchair party member into the restaurant up the one large step. The toilets are clean but no way disabled friendly but again staff were helpful moving furniture to enable us to help our disabled member to the toilet man handling him with the other 2 gents in the party holding him up under his arms to manipulate him by the sink that an ablè bodied person would have to walk past sideways unless extremely slim unfortunately we didn't take pictures so it's hard to describe. we were welcomed with a cocktail and non alcoholic drink of choice for those of us who didn't drink and bread cakes criostini and aioli which was nice. we had a selection of tapas dishes between the 5 of us pumpkin soup, sweet black pudding, cod and courgette lasagne, take fingers with mango mayo and plan honey,,Tomato cake, part in peppers, and 2 types of croquettes all were delicious and very filling.the bill was good too with drinks 105 euros for more traditional food and a taste of traditional canary hospitality well...

Das Tapas Lokal 'Tasca Tierras del Sur' wurde uns vom Host unserer Unterkunft empfohlen. Nach dem Einchecken also spontan hin. Freitag Abend 20.30 Uhr.

The best dining experience we had in Tenerife and one of the best in general! The owner is a very funny and charismatic character who will recommend which dishes go together and give great wine recommendations. He speaks a lot of languages (Spanish, English, German, Italian and probably even more). He makes sure to talk to all the guests and makes you feel like family. The waiter is very polite and quiet so they both balance each other out perfectly. The food was outrageously tasty! They started with some bread and beetroot mayonnaise. For the tapas, especially the prawns in white chocolate sauce and the warm banana cake dessert were out of this world. It felt like a Michelin dinner experience but for a very affordable price and I’m a very homey atmosphere. We will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to everyone. They also know how to deal with intolerances and have quite a few vegetarian options. :) We were two persons and had 4 tapas dishes, 1 shared dessert and 4 glasses of wine, a bottle of water and spent around 60€. Make sure to reserve a table to avoid disappointment. :)

Judging This Book By Its Cover would be Making a Huge Mistake by Missing out on a Gastronomic Experience At the Quaint and Charming Tasca Tierras Del Sur! Tasca Tierras Del SurIn the back streets of Granadilla is the small, quaint and unassuming restaurant Tasca Tierras Del Sur. Do not be put off by the outside appearance because inside is full of Canarian charm. Upon arrival, we are warmly greeted by Victor and, by invitation of the House, a Cava drink mix. Cava (a Spanish Champagne), white rum, amaretto, and lime juice are mixed together. The taste is sweet with a slight citrus flavour but it does make you feel very welcome. The main menu is also complimented with an unusual weekly menu as well as specials for the day. But there is no need to worry! Victor will spend time expertly explaining the different dishes, their ingredients and make appropriate recommendations. Our suggestion is to take his advice. Whether you are a first time diner or a regular guest, you will thoroughly enjoy this gastronomic experience at the Tasca Tierras Del Sur. tenerifelocalfoodguide

We were lucky to be able to book a Christmas dinner here last-minute. The food was absolutely amazing, all the tapas we shared were delicious, and prepared with a lot of care & passion. We shared 6 of the tapas (banana croquettes, the octopus, the fried goat cheese, the stuffed peppers, the tomato paste, and salmon puff pastry), and it was quite a nice portion for 2 people. The owner was so friendly and his recommendations were spot on, particularly the wine he gave us. We had to buy a bottle to take home with us, that's how good the wine was. As I looked around the restaurant I saw that every table had a different bottle of wine, so he's really good at pairing the right wine with meals, if you go here please listen to his recommendations! Highly recommend this place, one of the best places to eat in Tenerife, an actual authentic local restaurant!!
