First impressions were of a very well built Hotel with granite and marble floors with a slight hint of Art Deco. Wonderful curved main staircase. Huge bedroom with super king bed with a massive bathroom that was impeccably tiled and everything shiny. Toothbrush and gels provided. TV was bit small for the size of the room and there was an annoying air conditioner noise in the internal well, should have got a room at the front! Continental breakfast had no warm options apart from toast but no real complaints. Easy parking and no traffic noise.

El servicio de restaurante muy bueno. La cena estaba genial en cantidad y sabor. El buffet del desayuno sencillo, pero rico y saciante. Lo único malo es que si pides una bebida para cada uno, no entra en el menú la posibilidad de una botella de agua. El servicio de recepción muy educado y explica todo al detalle. Las habitaciones muy limpias, amplias, cómodas. El único "pero" es respecto a los baños, solo dejan un blíster pequeño de champú y no hay jabón para las manos. El parking está muy bien, aunque si entras por la carretera principal no está bien señalizado y se puede confundir con el que se encuentra en frente.

Cuando llegamos estaba todo lleno, aún así el camarero nos ofreció esperar a que quedara alguna mesa libre y nos salvó la tarde. El restaurante es enorme con varias salas, la terraza es pequeñita. La carta de entrantes es muy variada, la de platos principales no tanto. Una vez sentados el servicio fue rápido, profesional y amable, nos sentimos muy a gusto en el local. Los platos estaban buenos, pero la calidad no se correspondía con el precio, que era realmente elevado y lancantidad de comida servida wn cada plato era realmente escasa. En general es recomendable pero hay opciones mejores.

Overnight stop as it was a halfway house on our journey to Denia. The outside appearance of the premises was a bit of a surprise as seen from the main road, it was only when you went round the back to the official entrance that things started to smarten up Lovely comfortable room with an extremely large private roof terrace. |The restaurant for dinner was fine. The menu was typical Spanish and not very exciting. To be safe I ordered Turbot but what I was presented with looked and tasted more like Lenguardo. Nothing was said but at least they did not charge me the turbot price. My wife went for the Secreto Iberico main which proved a bit of a bone and fat challenge, to say the least. Two Flan de Huevo for dessert all topped with 3 Mahou sin alcohol beers Total dinner bill came to 41€ not bad. It satisfied the hunger...
