I decided to come, ignoring all the negative ratings. I tried the restaurant as well as the camping site. It shows, the owners take no effort to give a good experience here, not even the bare minimum is guaranteed! Sanitary facilities are not cleaned regularly!!! Food is “recycled” means if guest don’t eat up certain things it’s served to another person afterwards, disgusting! It started already when I called for a reservation. The lady hung up on me immediately after I said I don’t speak Spanish that well. Very impolite… still I sent an email to make a reservation because it’s the only campsite on the island. If u eat meat I would be careful. Some of the animals in the place are visibly sick and the food that they eat are the leftovers of the customers… As a person on the camping you are apparently not allowed to use the toilet in the restaurant, even if all other toilets are occupied. The lady ran after me into the toilet to kick me out (!) was mad at me and didn’t even listen to what I had to say. Even if u are polite all u get is disrespectful behavior, no valuing of the customer at all. I felt uncomfortable in the restaurant as well as in the...
Read moreA Hidden Gem Frozen in Time Tucked away in the stunning El Cedro (La Gomera), this restaurant feels like a step back in time. I visited this place fifteen years ago, and to my delight, none of its charm has faded—in fact, it’s only grown stronger.
It truly feels like time has stood still here: the same peace, the same warm hospitality, and—perhaps most importantly—the same delicious food. The watercress soup with bread and cheese is absolutely delightful, a must-try for anyone who appreciates simple, honest flavors.
From the terrace, you're treated to breathtaking views that words can hardly describe. Add to that the incredibly kind lady who served us, and you have an experience that stays with you.
An authentic, timeless spot where both nature and food embrace you. A must-visit for anyone...

This experience was so shockingly bad that I feel people should be warned. We were greeted (if you can even call it that) by a woman with pink hair who treated us with open hostility from the start. Her tone was aggressive, her manner completely disrespectful, and she made us feel unwelcome the entire time we were there.
Instead of a pleasant meal, we endured constant rudeness and an attitude that made it impossible to enjoy ourselves. I have never been spoken to like that in any restaurant before. It was not just poor service — it was downright unacceptable.
If you value basic respect, good service, and a welcoming atmosphere, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other restaurants in the island that actually appreciate...
