Sorry. This is a miss.

TL:DR. Great view especially at sun set. Food is good but is lacking from attention to details at this price point. Recommend to go 30 minutes before the sun set for you own aperitivo

Here is why it is missing 3 stars

The side dish Food wise is ok. I would say pretty good for the price. We took some meat and the issue was the vegetables ( not enough salt, pre-cooked,…) when complained, the waiter informed the kitchen. Great answer but haven’t heard back after.

The wait We waited 15 minutes for the started to arrive. A normal restaurant would have asked if we wanted the 2 mains sequentially or not. The main course arrived 40 minutes after the starts. No apology from the staff.

The overall I am sorry to say this but un clean staff members that don t smell their best is not acceptable.

On the positive side the view is outstanding. Truly. Not sure if the restaurant is at the level. Don’t miss take, you can have a good moment but I would recommend that you go with your own family aperitivo 30 minutes before the sun set.

I think I will try again this restaurant this week, but lunch...

Location is very nice, beautiful view. But we came for the food and that was kind of a disappointment. Food wise the plates are served nicely, but all of our dishes where served way to cold. The steak was so cold even on the outside that it felt like it was allready in the kitchen for a long time before being served. I ordered the 'chuleton de ternera' and obviously there should be a good layer of fat around the meat, this one was a really bad piece, more fat then meat as you can see on the picture. Not something to be served for being one of the most expensive dishes on the menu.

The grilled veggies on the inside felt like they came just out of the fridge. This was on 5 out of the 6 plates we ordered. After adressing it, they just apologised but didnt offer for anything else. The plates itself felt really cold too, if they would prewarm them in the oven it would maybe already resolve half the issue.

All in all a disappointing experience for...

Think this must be a place for locals as they weren’t fussed with us as tourists at all, which I’m gutted about as was really excited to try the food here! Took half an hour for any drinks let alone water to be served to the table. High chair and kids menu but were very snotty about the (very well behaved!) toddler - even though she was the one who enjoyed her meal more than the 4 adults at the table…! (Basically don’t have a kids menu if you actively don’t want children in your restaurant) Paella - told them of a clam allergy and there were clams in it regardless, as well as an unopened mussel. Also we had to serve ourselves as staff just seemed to not care (to the extent that we saw someone else cancel their food order and leave the same time as us). Duck confit sides were cold. The steak was nice though. Didn’t bother staying...

Today was a holiday in Palma and we were lucky to get a table as a result of a cancellation. Although the menu was varied, we went straight for the local Mallorca menu items. We had snails (one portion is enough for two)and they were dee-lish. We also ordered croquetas - they were varied (spinach, mushrooms, chicken and bacalao) and also very tasty.(both items not pictured) Although they are known for their meats, we ordered "arroz brut" (perfect for this cold day) and calamar a la brasa. Desert was a not too sweet cheese cake served with honey. I would def go back for a repeat meal! But especially for the view and for the visit to the hermitage next door. Culinary + Culture = great combination.
