This was the second time we have dined here on our holiday... Obviously we enjoyed it the first time round. The service was friendly, efficient and quick... The staff are very helpful and attentive. This time we had grilled local cheese with various garnishes that were very agreeable indeed. Peppers stuffed with black rice, sweet and tasty. A complimentary dish of mushroom with shrimp and asparagus on a bed of black rice... This was a nice touch and very much appreciated. Our main courses were baby squid, which we absolutely love (mojo verde obviously) - and a super slow cooked pork fillet with a melody of vegetables and fries... The pork melted in the mouth it was that soft and tender YUM! Last time we had desert but this time we were so full we could only just manage a cream topped shot (chupitos) of honey rum. Prices again are fair and reasonable for the quality of the food, portion size and service 57€ / £48 inclusive of 4 large beers. We would definitely recommend that you give these lovely people a try... We certainly will if we are in Gran Canaria again. Thank you El...

Volveré sin duda, el sitio está increíble. Es pequeñito con lo cual genial, pero mejor si pides reserva. Los camareros son maravillosos, súper rápidos, muy amables y siempre atentos. La cocinera es increíble, los platos salían enseguida y la comida es toda casera. Todo estaba espectacular, si te gusta comer bien, tienes que ir sí o sí. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Nosotros pedimos para tapear, que es la gracia. Especial mención a las croquetas de cecina (aunque las de boletus también estaban increíbles), la verdura en tempura (nada grasosa, crujiente y con su puntito de miel), el lomo te lo sirven con la piedra para que le busques el punto a tu gusto. Te informan de lo que hay en carta y de lo que hay fuera, así que opciones hay y más que deliciosas. Los postres necesitan una mención especial. Son todos caseros, pedimos tarta de limón, torrijas, tarta de tres quesos, mousse de gofio con chocolate blanco.. te informan de cuáles hay en ese momento. Son caseros y la cocinera tiene una mano excelente, estaban todos buenísimos pero, si te gusta la tarta de queso, no te puedes ir sin probarla. We had a fantastic experience at El Tapeo. We had croquetas, fish, gofio escaldado, and queso Herreño. Everything was absolutely amazing. The gofio was particularly well made. As for deserts, we tried the Tuno Yoghurt, the 3-cheese cake, as well as the lemon cheesecake. All of them were of very high quality. I particularly recommend the 3-cheese cake, which was exquisite.
