This is a typical local restaurant. It is located in a farmhouse. Really nice and cosy. It is not really clear where the entrance is, but the owners are happy to help, just step inside. The owners are very friendly! Service is super, food is delicious. There is no menucard, it is the menu of the day, you just sit and enjoy what is brought to you. Wine, water and soft drinks are included. The owners don't speak English, but they do their best to speak slow in Spanish. A side note: There are a lot of courses! Primeros consist of a lot of separate dishes. Secundos is also 2 dishes and then we still have postres (dessert). We paid €20 per person, really cheap for what is offered! I recommend this place to everyone who wants to taste the great, fresh and delicious local kitchen. Waw! 5 star worth. Owners, thank you for...
Read moreExcellent eating experience, we arrived to this unusual restaurant not knowing what we were going to eat as there is no menu. We were 5 friends travelling with a dog and we were accommodated in another eating room so the dog could stay with us. We were served local cheese to start, then a delicious rice with rabbit, serrano ham on slices of bread with fresh tomatoes, kingprawns and butifarra a la brasa. For desserts yogurt with honey and delicious slices of melon. We accompany our enormous meal with rose and a red wine from Somontano area. Orujo liquors were brought to our table to taste with our coffee. Excellent service, excellent food and amazing gastronomic experience. The 6 of us (dog included) left the place completely satisfied and with a full stomach....
Read moreWe were triggered to go to this farmers restaurant as we saw the sign when passing by, checked the reviews (thank you) and decided to go there the next evening. As many people described the place is no nonsense. You eat what is there. I won't say it is all typical local food (or the garlic Gamba's are also from there...). But most of the dishes were. Simple, plain, fresh and good. As we couldn't drink alcohol (yes how boring) we left the rosé and red wine untouched. A pity as the bottle was already opened. Our son was less enthusiastic to eat rabbit. All in all a wonderful place and experience. Definitely value for money. We were the only guests (corona and a quiet Wednesday evening), which made it a bit spooky. Nonetheless all ok....
