Hello everyone!!! My name is Manolo and I live in a beautiful town called SPB. It's small but you can do everything: swimming on the river, hiking, eat delicious food, go to the swimming pool, carnival, festival, ... On Sundays, I like walking on the way "Light factories" and at the end of the way you can swim on "La Cristalina". La "Cristalina" is a part of the river Guadiaro. There, the water of the river is so clean, clear and very cold. After swimming, I like to eat a sandwich with cheese and tomato. After walking for one hour, I arrive town and I always go to the restaurant "Los Cachollas". I usually drink a natural orange juice and a toast with avocado and olive oil. Oranges and avocados of my town. The restaurant is not cheap but you can eat very good and the sightseeing are amazing. Read moreI don’t know what food everyone else is having, but we had the worst food ever, 2 of the 4 of us were ill after. Service was ropey, I asked for a table and was told I could sit inside, but I requested to sit outside, as I had a dog. The waiter took forever to come take out drink order. A large party came and sat inside. And then after that it was though we didn’t exist. I kept having to go inside for service. The food was over cooked, salty and possibly expired. One of the dishes was supposed to be squid, but it was clearly cuttlefish. when we told the waitress about the food and the disappointment, she told well basically that’s the way the dishes are. We ate what we could because we were hungry, but definitely not...
Read moreAvoid keep driving, after passing by and having a look at the reviews that the food was quality and of reasonable price we turned round to stop at Los cachollas, we sat down and was told the kitchen was closing couldnt get a menu was then ran through a list of items we didn't really want but decided on 3 tapas and 2 drinks €42. €14 of those euros being for frozen Gamba pil pil that was floating in a watery red sauce. When we complained it was you ordered you pay for it good bye.
We definitely will not be returning.
