Small and rustic in appearence, this restaurant in a town by the same name, is a good option if you do not wish to enter Girona city for food on your way somewhere else for or if you love Catalan cuisine at an affordable price. Read moreWe were staying at Celra for a couple of days so wanted a place to eat in the evening. Luckily we found this place. Located in a tiny, quiet village just next door it has a lovely homely atmosphere. The owners and staff were very welcoming - we ended up spending 2½ hours there enjoying wonderful Spanish open grilled cuisine, including cold leak soup and wonderful green salad - and a couple of bottles of the local white wine!
We were so impressed we are going back again tonight before moving on to France.

Fuimos para celebrar un cumpleaños y una de nosotras había cocinado un pastel. Le preguntamos si lo podíamos llevar nos dijeron que sí y muy amablemente nos preguntaron si queríamos que lo guardarán en la nevera. A la hora de cobrar y sin decírnoslo previamente nos cobraron 5€ de más por persona por el gasto de lavar los platos y las cucharas del postre, tampoco tuvieron en cuenta que después tomamos cafés, cava, licores y cubatas. Puedo entender que no les guste que llevemos los postres, pero si nos lo hubieran dicho, no los hubiéramos llevado. Lo que no se puede hacer es decir que sí y luego cobrar y menos si la mitad de la cuenta es por bebida, licores, cava y cubatas. Evidentemente...
