Weird experience here, Today at 12.30 the waitress said that they don't serve sandwiches because they were about to eat a staff lunch before client 'menus' at 1pm.

We got a great veggie sandwich there a few days ago with a coffee around the same time.

WHY TURN AWAY A PAYING CLIENT????? We don't understand this system. A client who's hungry, wants a piece of bread with mayonnaise and cheese with their coffee, and to say no, we staff are eating?????

To put into context there's not many attractive places to eat in this village and we were staying 30 mins walk from this village. We're here on business and walk here everyday in the sun and always have a coffee / snack in the village.

From two people who've worked in hospitality for a long time, absolutely Terrible...

.... Hoy ha sido la tercera o cuarta vez que he comido en este restaurante, también ha sido la última. Aunque la comida en general no estaba mal, el servicio fue atroz. Cuando la camarera estaba leyendo el menú (no hay una copia impresa para que usted pueda estudiarla, ni siquiera indicar el precio), cada pregunta que teníamos fue recibida con impaciencia, no como se esperaría una explicación. La comida que elegimos fue empujada hacia nosotros plato por plato sin tiempo para terminar el primer plato antes de que el segundo fuera exprimido al lado sobre la mesa. Si quieres un almuerzo relajante te aconsejo que busques un restaurante diferente. La temperatura hoy era de casi 40° así que opté por una rodaja de sandía de postre y me la entregaron en un plato muy caliente, cuando se lo mencioné a la camarera su respuesta fue encogerse de hombros y ¡oh! Lo siento pero no hay oferta para cambiarlo. En general, nos hicieron sentir no bienvenidos y desatendidos. Este restaurante estaba lleno, así que tal vez sea que somos "extranjeros" o no clientes habituales, pero vivimos localmente y este restaurante ya no está en nuestra lista de...

The reviews are correct, the food is just amazing and the staff are friendly, look like a family restaurant, simple but cozy. We had 2 course meal + dessert for only €17 each, one of the best food I have in Spain after 2...
