An unforgettable dining experience at Kataví
Visiting Kataví was an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with impeccable service and a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The restaurant is located in the beautiful Plaza Mayor of Alfas del Pi, adding a special charm to the experience.
The tapas were a delightful surprise. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and every single one was amazing, especially the grilled octopus and the cheese board, which quickly became our favorites. Each dish was packed with flavor, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients.
The wine list is also impressive, offering a wide range of options that allowed us to explore and try wines from the region and beyond. The recommendations were spot-on, and the wine pairing with the tapas was perfect.
Without a doubt, the location, service, and food quality make Kataví a must-visit if you're in Alfas del Pi. A fantastic dinner that we hope to repeat soon. Highly...
Read moreThe older male waiter treated us horribly. A great location for a wine bar, but a huge deception. The waiter didn’t seem to know anything about wine. We didn’t even get a wine menu upon arrival. He got pissed off when we asked him for a different wine after he poured us glasses of their most expensive wine without consulting our taste/showing us the type of wine he was pouring us. We both absolutely did not like the taste. He then publicly made fun of us in front of his collegues when we asked him if we could try a different wine (for which we ofcourse offered to pay). It was not as if this was our first glass. We already had 4 glasses of wine and we were ordering food (paying customers). They charged the wine that we didn’t even drink on our bill anyway. They know their way around ruining your night out. What a shameful experience. They absolutely didn’t get the memo on how...
Read moreHas lots of potential. We were really pleased when this opened as it’s a promising new addition to the Al Faz food and drink scene. It has a great location and terrace but is nice and cosy inside ( unlike most other local bars !). Initially it had an extensive wine list with lots of options by the glass including a lovely house cava. However for some reason there is no longer a wine list just the house wine advertised on the first page . Also to my disappointment the house cava hasn’t been available for the last 2 weeks and instead we’ve had to have Prosecco. Seems crazy that you can’t get cava in Spain and have to drink Prosecco in a Spanish wine bar ! Have eaten here and the food is tasty and a very varied menu. Just hope they get themselves sorted out with a new wine list and...
