Restaurante Oriental Garden — Restaurant in l'Alfàs del Pi

Not so happy with The Oriental Garden have tried many Chinese Restaurants in the surrounding area but found this one to be more expensive for menu of the day and the choice of meals was poor and limited compared to others. Also, on being served our starter our main meal was presented to us about 1 minute later. It seem that they were in a bit of a rush. We ordered Chicken and almonds and believe it or not there was NO almonds at all in either of the meals! When the bill came we were charged for our drinks which were supposed to be included in the Menu del Dia. We asked for the bill to be checked and they immediately took the price of drinks off and apologized. An easy mistake to make? Ordered a portion soup which was very tasty. Unfortunately the pork used in the wontons were not fresh but cooked chopped up char siew pork which made the wontons dry on the inside. It's ashamed. Then soup was tasty, well done 👏 Please used fresh minced pork it will make your dish far superior. Oh dear, no menu del dia offered. Food lacking flavour. Pricey compared to other Chinese restaurants. Service good though. For the price paid for 2 soups,2 mains, 1 shared egg fried rice and a bottle of rosé , we could have had all you can eat/drink in any Chinese restaurant in Albir.
