Restaurante Transilvania — Restaurant in l'Alfàs del Pi

Beyond disapointed with this dining experience. We were a larger group of people and three of the group ordered the lamb shoulder- my mother was served lamb chomps and when she informed the waiter she got the wrong dish they shouted at her and said lamb is lamb! We all heard her ordering this but they embarrased her in front of the group and said that they would go get the receipt to prove that she was wrong. The people who did get what they had ordered did enjoy their lamb shoulder. Me and my husband ordered beef stroganoff and I have never seen such a disgusting plate of food - it was purple and utterly disgusting. I was hungry, but this meal was totally inedible so I left hungry too. All in all, their poor service and appauling attitude...

€18 and I got a full 4 course meal (I thought it was a special's menu). I received a salad, chicken soup, pork medallions with green peppercorn sauce and a cheesecake (kids ate that). Kid's both got cheeseburgers which were nicely seasoned and my wife enjoyed her chicken escallop. Menus were translated into numerous languages and staff were there when needed. My only observation was for a place referencing Transilvania, no fangs? No bats? No Dracula? But I jest it was very nicely decorated...

It's a lot of food so if you're going for a menu here you need a big appetite. There was a mixed salad included as well, I forgot to take a photo of it. I really liked their soup which was surprising to me as it was a weird mix of vegetables, meat with a creamy/oily broth. What let them down was the main course, the beef was tender but it wasn't particularly rich or tasty & I was stuffed by then. The best thing was the dessert but I am partial...
