Arrived with my family for dinner to be greeted by a waiter who asked if we'd like to try their Indian gin which we decided to try. The food was ok but nothing great and far more expensive than other Indian restaurants in the area but happy to pay for good food. That's where things went downhill. The portions were very small for the money and as we were still hungry asked if they had a desert menu, the reply was no and the waitress just walked away. I then asked for the bill and waited. I asked for the bill again after 19 minutes and waited. The staff were just stood together laughing and joking and ignored us. My partner decided to leave with our baby who was getting upset. I asked for a third time and was told its coming as all the staff were just leant by the bar. At this point I lost it and said I'm leaving €50 is that enough for the bill? My bill was then finally placed on the table, the two G&Ts were at the top. €18 for 2 drinks!!! I could of purchased 2 bottles of gin for that there. Absolutely fuming and run by a bunch of crooks!!! Never ever eat here unless you want to be ripped off, treated like dirt and...
Read moreI must say I eà very surpriseat the quality of the food and the service given in this restaurant. I was greeted by a lovely girl from Nepal who was one of the waitresses, I was asked where I would like to sit( very unusual as most restaurants put you where they want you,so nice change) I was asked if I would like a drink before looking at the menu. I order lamb korma which was out of this world. The food was fresh and so tasty. The host was so attentive to all customers and also the waiters were always on hand to assist in anyway.
If you are in Albir I would recommend the FANTASTIC restaurant.. In my eyes more than 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Thank you to all the staff you surpassed my...
Read moreThe worst Indian food ever. Bland, minimal sauce and expensive. My husband had Jalfrezi which tasted like tomato stew. I ordered a balti. Now I lived in Birmingham all my life and have eaten balti for 40 years. Chickpeas in a balti...seriously!!! It was bland and tasteless. The waitress checked on us halfway through and we gave her our comments. She said she would take it away and make the sauces spicier. How? You can't just add chilli. The spices have to be blended from the beginning. I don't know what palate they are cooking for but these sauces are the least authentic we have ever tasted. If you wan curry in this are go to Tiffin. We usually do but made a change and...
