We have now been here a few times and have never been disappointed, the food is delicious and fantastic value for money, I have added a few more photo's of the restaurant and the meals we ordered, by the way the slow cooked lamb dishes are delicious😋 We decided to sit outside for our meal, however inside there are plenty of seats. The inside is decorated very tastefully in a traditional way. The food was delicious and cooked to order. I had chicken in a mushroom sauce with fries, it was beautiful and cooked to perfection. My wife had a meat dish that was filled with cheese, she said it was delicious. I had a Fanta lemon drink and my wife had a glass of wine plus the two complimentary shots. The service was great, the staff friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. Definitely worth visiting. Specials on Tuesday from 1pm until 4pm if you want a bargain priced meal, having said that our meal only cost 23 Euro for a starter for two, two main courses, two shots, a large glass of red 🍷 and a Fanta. ...
Read moreIt took the staff 15 minutes just to give us menus, a further 15 minutes to take order. Got starters quite quickly then we had to ask for the plates to be cleared. Again after 20 minutes we asked if we were going to get the main course, the waitress nervously smiled walked away and returned with menus. We told her we had ordered, she said yah but the Kitchen don't know what you rdered. It was easier to wait for the meal rather than go to a different restaurant. The meal if you think a Eskimo can cook a good Biryani, then you'll like the so called Greek food served at this restaurant. Looks like Greek food ish, I suppose the Greek names for the dishes did help it somewhat. The main Clientele for this restaurant are northern Europeans no disrespect but.!!. It's in Albir so prices are Artificially high. Ok I hear you , I grow up with Greeks Lived in Cyprus and the Greek Islands for over 10 years so I was on a high with anticipation and not a Teaspoon of Thaini sauce to be found, but the Tzatziki Was on par with Marks...
Read moreWe visit this restaurant on a regular basis. But beware visiting over the weekend as the service drops dramatically. It's not the waiters fault. It seems people now book large tables and they all book for the same time. Instead of spacing out the bookings everyone comes at the same time leaving a backlog of tables waiting for food. We and Six other tables of various sizes waited for over 45 minutes between starters and main courses coming out. No apology was given, everyone had to ask what the holdup was to be told they couldn't do anything about it. In fact our waiter said Sundays are worse. We could have been offered a free drink in compensation then it wouldn't have been so bad. The food is good but we are now put off visiting over the weekend. The management needs to sort out the booking system as it will put people off. Remember there are numerous restaurants in Albir. NOT...
